Overview
For many courses, it can be helpful to provide quick-reference docs that summarize key points for learners. In certain cases, similar kinds of training materials can serve as a jumping off point for self-directed or collaborative learning activities.
The first example was developed to support a collaborative activity as part of a larger course on conflict resolution. The second is a response to an assignment in the Instructional Design Micromasters program I took through edX, where the task was to summarize key points in the theory of Andragogy.
The edX course was highly influential in my development. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to understand the foundations of instructional design.
